TrueNorth Grand Opening
We recently celebrated the Grand Opening of TrueNorth’s new home located at 4037 Gateway Drive, Joplin, MO 64804. This event was more than just the unveiling of a new building, it was a significant milestone in our commitment to enhancing the client experience.
You might think it’s unconventional for a wealth management firm to buy 12 acres of land and build a building that feels less like an office and more like a getaway, and you’d be right.
We understand the demands of modern life and recognize the need for a tranquil space to reflect and realign. Our new office is designed to be that quiet moment—a breath of fresh air in a world that’s always on the go.
For those of you that have been with us for years, you’ll know that our conversations are about more than your money. We are dedicated to helping you align your financial plan with your hopes, values and purpose.
Our new office represents a bold departure from the traditional financial services environment where we’ve intentionally created a space to help you find your TrueNorth.
A Celebration To Remember
The evening’s highlights included an educational presentation by local historian, Brad Belk, and assistant city manager Tony Robyn, who shared some of the rich history and beauty of our surroundings in Joplin, Missouri.
“The history is thick and rich along Shoal Creek corridor because it is the water source…wildlife and people gravitate toward places with these winning qualities.” shared Brad Belk.
In regards to Bryan and Troy’s effort in building this new location, Mr. Belk remarked that “they’re doing a wonderful job of preserving that (nature and history) and it’s beautifully located. This is a happy day for them…I know they’re proud of this.”
Everyone gathered in the main space for a speech from co-founders, Bryan and Troy, where they shared their vision for the future and their appreciation for everyone involved, especially their clients’ support.
Troy opened by describing how and when this particular journey began.
“As we all know, the pandemic was a time where a lot of connection was lost because we couldn’t be with each other in person. Though it felt impossible at the time, that’s when the idea for building this new office came about.”
“This feels like going against the grain–bringing people together and doing that as much as possible, face-to-face, human connection… We’re excited to share that with all of you.”
And Bryan continued the sentiment. “We want to be that financial guide for our clients, to help guide you to what matters most in life. Living out a life of purpose, a life of passion. Sometimes it’s discovering it, sometimes it’s rediscovering it and going forward.”
Guests also enjoyed exploring the new office while savoring light bites, beverages, and a live musical performance.
More Than Just An Office
In addition to serving our clients, we hope to use this space to grow our team and expand our services. We plan to host seminars, workshops, and other community events to further strengthen the ties of the Joplin area.
The Journey Begins
We are deeply grateful for the support and relationships that have led us to this exciting new chapter. A special thanks goes to everyone who played a role in making this possible, including our construction team, architects, designers, landscapers, bankers, and the many others who contributed. Your support has been invaluable.
Thank you to everyone who has helped us reach our TrueNorth—may we be the best guides we can be to help those around us toward their TrueNorth.
