Meet Connor Williamson–Our New Team Member with a Passion for People and Wildlife

We’re thrilled to introduce Connor Williamson, the newest member of our TrueNorth team! Originally hailing from Johannesburg, South Africa, Connor’s journey to Joplin began in 2021 when he moved here to play golf and explore new opportunities. Since then, he’s made Joplin his home, graduating in May with a double major in Finance and Management, from Missouri Southern State University and is eager to embark on his career.

Connor’s passion for finance runs in the family, with close family members working in the field. This background has fueled his ambition to help clients navigate the financial world with confidence. At TrueNorth, Connor is instrumental in aiding our software operations, ensuring accuracy in data, and preparing comprehensive financial reports for co-founders, Bryan and Troy.

Connor’s analytical skills are complemented by his sociable nature. He enjoys the balance of crunching numbers and connecting with people, making him an ideal fit for our team. His role involves not only technical support but also contributing to a supportive and dynamic work environment.

Outside of work, Connor has a keen interest in wildlife photography, inspired by his experiences in South Africa, where he grew up surrounded by majestic animals like lions, elephants, zebras, and giraffes. He’s also an avid golfer and enjoys playing pickleball. His travels down the east and west coasts of the U.S. have been filled with memorable experiences, and he’s grown fond of the birdlife and scenic beauty of the Ozarks. His love for photography and the calming sounds of birds chirping and water running reflect his appreciation for the natural world.

Connor’s background includes attending a unique high school with a strong focus on sports, outreach, and volunteering. While at school, he learned valuable life lessons and developed a deep appreciation for the finer details of personal and social interactions.

He’s here to support our team and clients with his unique blend of analytical skills and personable approach. We’re so excited to see our team growing as we continue our commitment to our clients’ experience.
