Impacting Our Communities Through Giving
At TrueNorth, we believe in the power of community and the importance of giving back and the profound impact we can make together in making a difference for others in the communities we live in. We want to share updates on our three primary areas of focus in our giving initiatives: Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment, Education, and Conservation efforts.
1. Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment
We are deeply committed to ensuring every child has a safe and nurturing environment. Our spotlight this quarter is on CASA of Jasper County, an incredible organization that provides trained volunteers to advocate for the best interests of children in the foster care system. By giving a voice to those who need it most, CASA helps ensure that these children find safe, permanent homes where they can thrive.
2. Education
Education is the foundation upon which brighter futures are built. TrueNorth proudly supports the Aspire Scholarship Program of Jasper and Newton Counties. This program was originally started by Bryan and Leticia Vowels and is dedicated to helping single parents break the chains of poverty and achieve their dreams through higher education.
3. Conservation Efforts
Preserving our natural environment is essential for the well-being of our community and future generations. This quarter, we are announcing a matching grant to support the Joplin Trails Coalition, an organization committed to maintaining and expanding trails for the enjoyment of our community. The Coalition’s work promotes outdoor activities, supports local wildlife habitats, and enhances the natural beauty of our region. By backing such efforts, TrueNorth helps ensure that our natural resources are protected and enjoyed by all.
